We attended a report of a boiler breakdown in Brighton, our Gas Safe engineer discovered that the pump within the boiler has become completely seized due to a build up of sludge within the central heating system. This required our engineer to perform a ‘Power Flush’ to the system using Fernox chemicals.
To perform a power flush we use a machine that pushes water with chemicals at a high pressure through the radiators and heating pipework, getting rid of the build up. This is a highly recommended procedure that will help prevent future boiler breakdowns and improve your boiler’s lifespan.
